The room was comfy and clean, with a nice setup, but the TV was really small. The bed felt great and the shower was perfect. it was a basic but cozy stay. Just a bit more effort would make it even better.

A decent bed with enough space for two, making it comfy for a night. The layout of the hotel, set up more like chalets around a car park, offers a unique vibe compared to typical establishments.
The parking situation leaves a lot to be desired. spaces are too narrow and I managed to scratch my car pretty good. There’s a conspicuous lack of fresh fruit or any options for breakfast nearby, and with the restaurant closed for maintenance, getting a meal was a hassle. The room itself could use some attention. it had a noticeable draft from an ill-fitting door and windows that made the heating situation questionable during the cooler nights. Peeling paint was a common sight, both on the window frames and in the shower. certain essentials like a mirror or a chair would’ve been more comfortable for getting ready, considering there wasn’t much space for lounging around. Despite these quirks, I still had a decent stay overall.

The Yew Tree features a quaint exterior situated in a peaceful village, providing a nice car parking area that's easy to access. The room I stayed in had a cozy vibe, with comfortable beds, a small table, and basic refreshments, great for unwinding after a long day.
Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several areas. The room had an unpleasant musty odor upon arrival, and the bathroom layout wasn't very practical, with a towel rail too close to the toilet making it awkward to use. The shower lacked a proper way to contain water, leaving the floor soaked and slippery. The absence of toiletries was disappointing. shower gel in tiny tubes isn't quite the same as hand soap. the restaurant wasn't accessible during the hours stated on our welcome sheet, leaving us locked out late into the evening without dining options, along with a frustratingly slow Wi-Fi connection that barely worked. it felt more like a gamble than a reliable stay.

Had a great time with friends! The breakfast spread was incredible, and the cozy atmosphere made it even better. We explored the nearby charming village and the beautiful church. Just a heads up, the rooms are a bit outside the main building, but that didn’t take away from our stay!
One downside was the thin walls between rooms, which made it a bit noisy in the early morning when other guests were leaving. But overall, it didn't ruin our experience.
